Steve Fletcher grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and Black Hills of South Dakota. After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Geology, he received his commission as an Infantry officer in the United States Army. During his 6 ½ year military career, he served in several positions including Mechanized Infantry Platoon Leader for 1^st Platoon, C. Co, 1-5 Cav, 1^st Cavalry Division, and later as Deputy Operations Officer for 3^rd Brigade Combat Team “Rakkasans,” 187^th Infantry Regiment, 101^st Airborne Division. He is a graduate of several Army training courses, most notably the Infantry Captains’ Career Course, Airborne School, Air Assault School, and Ranger School. He also earned the coveted Expert Infantryman’s Badge.

Steve is a licensed attorney and graduate of the prestigious Presidential Management Fellows program. He has worked at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas supporting the US Space Program where he has been responsible for negotiating several multi-million dollar contracts.

Steve and his wife, Wendy, have two beautiful twin daughters, Abigail and Alexis.
